We have been in business for over 20 years, providing a consistently high level of care and training for your horse. Diversity is deemed to be a strength, as it is our goal to find what discipline(s) best suits your horse. We have experience and success in the show ring not only at the local level, but the National level as well in Western Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, English and Country English Pleasure, Reining, Trail, Reined Cow Horse and Working Cow Horse.
Teaching our amateur/non-pro riders to become good horsemen and horsewomen is paramount.  Teaching horsemanship skills and gaining a knowledge of a rider’s horse and its mechanics is more important than creating a “puppet rider” that looks good in the show pen as long as nothing goes wrong.
Having a husband and wife training team is a plus for both the horse and rider. We strive to maintain good family morals and values through all that we do, creating a positive environment not only for our horses but for both our youth and adult riders as well.  As stated earlier, our diversity is our strength.  Every horse and rider is different, and some horses, and some people are going to get along better with one trainer, while others are going to get along better with another. Additionally, we can utilize each of our strengths to help one another through rough spots we may encounter with either a horse or a rider.
Gambel Oaks is about hard work and an honest effort to make the most of the horses and riders that we have the privilege to work with.
